DeWayne Weaver, DVM Owner/Practitioner

Dr. Weaver has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Owner of Green Camp Veterinary Clinic, LLC since 1999, he purchased Southgate Veterinary Clinic in May 2017 from Dr. Matt Verbsky. He practices small animal medicine and surgery at both locations and large animal medicine and surgery (primarily cattle, goats, sheep) out of the Green Camp location.

Growing up in a rural setting on a dairy farm near Kenton, Dr. Weaver developed a passion for all types of animals. This is what has drawn him back to area of Green Camp and now at his new venture in Bellefontaine. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Melissa, their six children, and their many pets.

Dr. Winter lives near Mt. Victory with her husband and their fur children, Reign and Ryder. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, canoeing and camping with her dogs. Along with hunting and riding off-road vehicles. However, spending time with her family tops the list.

Alicia has been part of Southgate Veterinary Clinic since 2009 after graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Biology in 2009. She loves working closely with the animals during surgery or for their everyday exams.

She and her husband, Tyler, have a cat named Buzz. She is very crafty and enjoys reading in her spare time. On her days away she enjoys instructing tumbling classes.

Donna Stevenson-Office Manager

Donna has been with Southgate since 2018. One of my favorite parts of my job is working with all the fur babies. I love when they walk through the door and give kisses or make it known they have arrived. Every pet has its own personality and getting to know each one is always a neat experience.

My husband is Rich and we have two sons Mason and Garrett. I am truly blessed that my family loves animals too. We have 6 dogs: Jayson, Kody, Develyn, Gabby, Dalton and Knox. We have 7 cats: Sheldon, Eclipse, Ellie May, Buddy, Morgan, Growler and Julia. We also have 2 pygmy goats Tilly and Ollie, 2 Turkeys Gretel and Spots and a few chickens. I enjoy being with my animals and taking them to different places with me. When I am not at work I love being outside hiking, kayaking, camping, and different crafting projects.

Michelle Zumbrun-Veterinary Technician

Michelle has been with Southgate Veterinary Clinic since 2018 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute of Bradford. Michelle loves working as a Registered Veterinary Technician because she feels a sense of pride in being an advocate for our furry family members who cannot speak for themselves. She loves providing care for the pets that provide us with such unconditional love. In her free time, she loves traveling with her husband Eric, and their two fur kids Roxie and Oliver, as well as sxs riding, camping, hiking and spending time with her family.

Lindsey

I have an Associate in science from Vincennes University. I worked with animals off and on through school for 5 years and I’m now the second receptionist at Southgate Vet Clinic. I like being outside kayaking and mushroom hunting.
